Peers debate the environment as part of the Queen’s Speech

Between 11 – 19 May the Queen’s Speech was debated in the House of Lords. Over the five days of debate over 50 Peer raised issues pertaining to the twin threats of climate change and biodiversity loss. There was a running theme from across the political parties that a high level of urgency was required to tackles the crises we face.
