P4P Chair Baroness Hayman joined the world's leading experts in design and sustainability at the Design for Planet Festival, an annual conference supporting the UK’s nearly 2 million-strong design community to address the climate emergency. The conference was also live-streamed directly to 93 countries attracting a cross-industry audience of 6,000 people.

This year's conference theme – COLLABORATE – explored how if we are to achieve a regenerative world, we must do it together through consumers, working with nature, AI development, building supply chains, cross-industry business ventures and gathering together practices of different disciplines.

Baroness Hayman delivered a keynote address, reflecting on how the climate and nature crisis has quickly become the biggest design challenge – and opportunity - of our age, and how collaboration is essential to bring people from different disciplines to think creatively about how we can do things differently in the future.

"The UK’s contribution in responding to the climate crisis will be measured not just in the quantity of emissions we reduce, but in the quality of the vision, innovation and leadership we provide."
